DE NOVA DESERT DRIFT
In 1982 I took Drifter to Angaston Show and he won his class Colt 2 yo and under.
Drifter has charisma and such a lovely personality, a real character and very gentle with children His excellent temperament makes him easy to handle where ever we took him.
In 1984 we moved from Point Pass to Kongolia. We had no suitable stallion facilities, so Drifter was leased to Max Loffler of Pine Park Stud at Stockwell. He sired many Pine Park ponies.
DE NOVA DESERT DRIFT was born in 1981 has been the stud stallion since 1984. I was going to geld him for my riding pony but his first show changed that idea.

When he returned to us he hadn’t been ridden for 3 years. We started preparing him for showing him again. He has won many Champion and Grand Champion ribbons over the years.
The highlight of his show career was in 1991 when he won High Point Entire of Show, in those days there were a lot more horses than now. At this show, as well as winning his lead and ridden class he received a high score for his dressage test. His son De Nova Desert Magic won Foal Futurity, and a couple of his daughters won their various classes – quite a day.
